What is Big Data?

Big data😉 is a term which came into existence by many years ago but it is used from last few years because companies sense the need of this (Big Data) from these last two years. As we all know Collecting data without any use called as Garbage😕.

"Before Coming of Machine leaning this Data is useless" Because If we can't use it for our benefit then. There is no sense of collecting this data.

The term data😉 is about each and every raw material of from which the useful information can be extracted. Now the question arises, what type of data & what may be included in data? Data can be of any type like videos, images, files & so on. In other words, we can say data can be of any variety.

Types of data😜

Mainly the data is categorized into three parts- Structured data, Unstructured data and Semi-Structured data

• Structured data is the data which is organized in a manner i.e. it should have a sequence of manners.
• Whereas Unstructured data  is the data in an unorganized manner i.e. no sequence of manners.
• And Semi-Structured data is data in which some data is Structured and some are not.

What is Big Data?

Now let’s come to the term BIG DATA, usually it is to be thought as the data which is large in amount. The big data has look after the large data to set the trends or patterns of the data. Big data help companies to analyze the existing data and extract meaningful insight from them. But this is not the fact, a small data can also be a big a data. 

For example- From the real world, As we all use social media sites like Facebook. We upload Images, Videos etc and Follow many pages. According to this data, Facebook Show Multiple ads according to our interest. This is a good example of Big Data

Here, what comes in our mind,That what type of data can be a big data? 

This depends on the V’s of the big data. Mostly 3V’s are used describe the Big Data. These are-

Velocity, Volume, Variety.

Let’s have an example to describe these V’s. 

What is Big Data?

For example-: Facebook, Instagram, twitter, You-tube  & other social media applications uses big data to handle their data. How the 3 V’s works here is,

• Velocity- speed i.e. how much time an application takes to upload the data.
• Volume- size i.e. whether the data can be stored or not.
• Variety- types i.e. any type of the data can be stored.

In short, we can say that, the varieties of data of any volume can be uploaded within less or no time. If any data has these three features that data can be a big data.

AI in BIG DATA😁

The big data also works in the field of artificial intelligence. we can understand it from the above point that is ‘Big data help companies to analyze the existing data and extract meaningful insight from them’, which means that AI can help to make decisions for companies to extract the meaningful information from the data. This is how AI used in big data. 
Conversely, big data is also used by the AI. That can use Big data for decision making and self learning. 

For example- we have put our information on the YouTube, Facebook and Instagram that are on the concept of Big Data. so, AI will analyze the useful data and show us as adds or suggestions on our mobile phones or other internet devices on which we have logged in. This is how AI use the Big Data.

The best use of AI with big data is in the car called as ‘internet car’ which is ‘MG HECTOR’, which is a self driving car.
